DESCRIPTION
- Bring up to 20 new or gently-loved clothing or accessory items, to exchange for a new-to-you item. See below for a list of accepted & not accepted items. **These items must be in good condition, clean, and will be vetted for quality before entering swap. No item donation is necessary to shop the swap!
- You can drop your items off October 6th-10th to Tare Market Northeast (review store hours and our address here) or October 11th 11-11:45am. Dropping off ahead of time will help decrease your wait time - instead of waiting to "check in" at the event you can start swapping right away! OR Arrive at your designated ticket time and check in with a volunteer. They will show you where to hang your items and vet them for quality.
- To ensure everyone finds amazing clothes, we ask that you please limit what you take to one bag of any size. We ask that you do not bring wagons or similar into the space.
- We would especially love fall and winter items and Halloween costumes.

- Halloween costumes
- Women's, men's, and kids clothing
- Accessories like purses, belts, scarves, headwear & more
- Lightly worn shoes
- Seasonally appropriate items preferred
NOT ACCEPTED ITEMS
- Undergarments and socks
- Promotional t-shirts
- Linens, towels and sheets Items with rips, stains, faded, or stretched out
- All unclaimed items at the end of the event will be donated to SACA Food Shelf & Thrift Store, except for Halloween costumes which will be donated to Arc Value Village.
We are so grateful for the continued enthusiasm and support for the Clothing Swap. Since we first started hosting this event, it has grown immensely in popularity, which has been wonderful to see. However, as the event has expanded, it now requires a significant amount of time and resources from our Tare Market staff, along with additional outside help to ensure everything runs smoothly.
As a result, we find it necessary to introduce a small fee for participation moving forward. This change will help us maintain the quality of the event and continue offering it to the community in a sustainable way.
We truly appreciate your understanding and support, and we’re excited to keep providing these events with the same level of care and dedication.
