Charcoal Water Filter

Kishu Charcoal Water Filter is 97% pure activated carbon. It is extremely effective in bonding with toxins which may be found in tap water, including: lead, mercury, copper, cadmium (to name just a few). Made by Japanese artisans in an ancient process involving heating branches of a special oak tree in outdoor kilns over a week's time. This painstaking process shrinks and hardens the branches into activated charcoal - now able to readily adsorb toxins.

Available in 2 sizes:

• To-Go: This is the ideal way to bring filtered water on the go; the gym, the car, your bicycle, etc! Works best in any 12-16 ounce water bottle.
  
• Regular: The regular size is the perfect counter-top or refrigerator water filter solution. Best for use in any 1-2 quart pitcher. We recommend adding tap water in the evening for use the next day.

INSTRUCTIONS: We recommend adding tap water in the evening for use the next day. Optimal filtration time 1-2 hours. Enjoy the taste of natural spring water with kishu charcoal. To renew, simply boil gently in a shallow pan of water for 5 minutes, allow to dry out for 20 minutes before reusing. One stick lasts 4 months.
